Latour-Marliac is recruiting.

Café Marliacea currently has several seasonal positions open. We’re looking for motivated team players who are good under pressure and who get satisfaction from delivering excellent service to customers in a beautiful spot in the South of France.

In the kitchen: we’re looking to recruit a chef and an experienced sous chef for full-time work from late April to October 1.
We’re also looking for a part-time or full-time kitchen assistant for the months of July and August. In addition to food preparation, duties include knowledge of and strict adherence to hygiene standards, inventory management and preparing food for large groups. The restaurant serves lunch from 12PM to 3PM, with late afternoon menu until 4:30PM, from May 1 through September 30. Dinner is served from 7PM to 10PM on Fridays and Sundays in July and August. Seating capacity for non-group services is 75 people. Café Marliacea also welcomes many groups of 25 to 55 people who dine from a set menu.
Kitchen applicants should have at least an intermediate level of French language.

On the floor: we’re looking for one full-time server/floor manager from late April to October 1. This person should be good with people, efficient and detail-oriented. In addition to waiting tables, tasks include inventory and hygiene management, as well as an ability to train and manage staff on floor and other duties, as well the computer system. We’re also looking for one part-time server from May 1 to October 30, and a full-time server from Jun 15 to August 31. Applicants for service positions should be keen to work outside, where most service takes place, and be energetic – the distance between the kitchen and the terrace is greater than what is found in most restaurants. Service applicants should have fluent French.
