(Latour-Marliac, c. 1922)
SOUVENIRJULESJ
Large water lily with pads from 15 to 20 cm in diameter, and 15 cm flowers.
Rare pre-war variety. 'Jacquier', along with 'Tulipformis', 'Madame Julien Chifflot' and 'Marguerite Laplace' constitute an extraordinary set of lilies that have enormous and spectacular flowers, but which were not widely exported due to the slowness with which they reproduce. While not particularly vigorous, they are easy to grow and bloom profusely.
Plant one per 20 litre planting container at a depth of 40 to 100 cm in order to have approximately one square metre of surface coverage after a year or two.
