(Latour-Marliac, c. 1930)
JCNFORESTIER
Medium water lily with pads from 10 to 15 cm in diameter, and 10 cm flowers.
Old and exceptionally rare variety. Forestier was the architect of the Bagatelle Gardens in Paris, and a very good client of Latour-Marliac, hence his receiving a namesake lily in 1930. This variety has delicate coppery yellow and pink flowers whose tones change over the 3 to 5 day life of the flower.
Plant one per 14 or 20 litre Latour-Marliac planting container at a depth of 20 to 60 cm in order to have approximately one square metre of surface coverage after a year or two.
