Large water lily with pads from 15 to 20 cm in diameter, and 17 cm flowers.
Relatively rare, Vésuve is a more exotic version of Escarboucle, with carmine flowers that crinkle slightly at the ends and an eruption of yellow stamens that no doubt inspired its name.
Plant one per 20 litre Latour-Marliac planting container at a depth of 40 to 80 cm in order to have approximately one square metre of surface coverage after a year or two.
