Large water lily with pads from 14 to 20 cm in diameter, and 12 cm flowers.
Classic variety. Rob Sheldon's (the current owner's) favourite. It is a lily he ordered at the age of 12 from Lilypons Water Gardens in Maryland, USA, and that he planted in gardens all over New Hampshire and Vermont as a landscaper, before discovering 15 years later that it came from a nursery called Latour-Marliac.
It is an understated lily with flowers that are a uniform light pink. It is very easy to grow, and blooms profusely.
Plant one per 20 litre planting container at a depth of 40 to 100 cm in order to have approximately one square metre of surface coverage after a year or two.
