Cyperus Papyrus (Egyptian Papyrus)

This is the famous aquatic plant that grows in the Nile river delta in Egypt, and from which the word paper derives. It is semi-tropical and cannot tolerate frost-prone climates, but it does well indoors during the winter if kept wet and in a sunny window. In ideal conditions it will grow to 3 meters, but in most gardens it rarely surpasses 2 meters in height.
