This early red variety is easy to grow and it blooms readily all season. A true classic, it was one of Latour-Marliac's most successful introductions and was exported widely from 1900 onward.
Plant one per 14 or 20 litre planting container in 20 to 40 cm of water to have about one square metre of surface coverage after a year or two.
