An edible colocasia with abundant purple foliage that may be cultivated in sun to part shade. Light shade will provoke the plant to produce intense green leaves that then turn purple, a nice effect. A hardy plant is not cultivated in water. As with all colocasias, this one needs a large amount of humus and organic mazterial to do well. Height to 120 cm+.
